Over the years we’ve owned several concrete (cement) pools, all inherited when purchasing pre-owned homes. They leaked, the gunite pitted, the marcite faded—the list went on.

When we built our home here in The Villages, Florida, we decided to take a fresh approach and seriously considered fiberglass. We compared materials, designs, warranties, and maintenance, and ultimately chose fiberglass.

Our pool installer chose the pool cover company, so we had no exposure to them prior to installation. A little over a year after installation, a small tear developed in the cover. Mike and his service team determined the cause of the tear, and stood behind their work and cover warranty 100%. We now have a replacement cover installed and we are super pleased with the warranty communication and experience.

These guys have installed three different covers during the life of our pool and each time they do a bang up job with little-to-no problems. They respond quickly to phone calls, which I really appreciate and they’re helpful in figuring out problems as well. Even during Covid they were quick to get back in touch. We recently went through a pool remodel and they were in touch with the pool contractors the entire time, ensuring the cover was ready to be put back on as soon as the pool was replaced. I’ve never experienced any kind of negativity or rudeness from them and indeed have come to appreciate their patience as I know they have a lot of demands on their time.

I have a Latham liner and I absolutely love it. I purchased the posi-track bottom for my stairs and the shallow end. It provides texture so the floor is not slippery. Also, I did not purchase the tile accent. I carried the liner color right up to the coping. The color is brilliant. My pool was installed in 2018 and every time I look at the color, I am so thrilled. Our pool is actively used as I have four children, friends, family etc. Everyone remarks about the color. I actually called Latham when we were purchasing it and they helped me choose the color based on an “inspiration” picture I had. I found the company to be very helpful.

I ordered a liner from Latham Pools and I am amazed at how perfectly it fit my pool. I have approximately six inches of a pebble pattern and then a beautiful blue pattern for the liner. So, there is a distinct line around the pool that is exactly, perfectly, impeccably level. I cannot believe how perfectly this liner fits my pool. I highly recommend Latham Pools for all of your pool needs. They are a competent, professional, and well run company with a laser focus on customer service. I believe you will be pleased with this company.
